Cane plant

doing very well, It was acquired in 1963 lived in mums garden until I moved to this house in 1971 then we dug most of it up and transplanted it and it's been here ever since. It was acquired as a very small plant from some place in the new forest area we went to while on holiday, and my uncle pulled up 2 small plants from a great big hedge of them  one for mum and one for my Auntie, they kept them in water all week then wrapped them in wet paper to bring them home. I have to laugh now when I think of it, my uncle trying to conceal these two small plants under his raincoat There were that many of them I doubt anyone would have cared about them.

Hospital today for Paula she had her scan, it always makes her feel ill as when they inject the dye into her bloodstream it starts her angina off.
I think the taxi driver who took us had a death wish the way he was driving.

Today was really hot and we are expecting storms later, plus heavy rain in some parts, hope it's not us.
