Not Forgotten
“Founded in 1920 The Not Forgotten has a 105-year history of supporting its beneficiaries in the aftermath of two world wars and countless other conflicts.
The Founder wrote in 1937 … as long as there are sufferers The Not Forgotten will be needed and they are.
The charity has gone from strength to strength throughout the decades, continuing to adapt to meet the changing needs of serving personnel and veterans living with injury and illness - embracing changes in society and digital technology and the increasing understanding of mental and moral injury.”
The Not Forgotten has a history of garden parties held normally in London but this year, 2025, they have taken the garden parties to the regions.
Today Cornwall and Devon’s was held at Pentillie Castle at Saltash, beautiful sunny weather, more cakes than those gathered could be expected to eat and brilliant company. The afternoon passed in a blur of fun and laughter, Mrs S and I had a ball.
The photograph was take n from tonight’s TV ‘Spotlight’ news and shows me making my way to the table.
