In bloom

This is about 1/4 of the rose bushes around here. They have a lovely light fragrance and are pretty. Something has decided that it likes marigold leaves so they are systematically being munched. I have no idea what it is. This is a year of seeing what will work in this yard. My front yard is pretty shady so some of the little seedlings may not thrive. We'll see.
I've had a quiet day. I've baked my apple crisp for Steve's memorial tomorrow and now I'm going to sit around and watch something on my streaming channel. 
Tomorrow is another big protest and march. Mom will be coming in to join me.
