Vuda Beach Market

It turns out the local arts and crafts and food market is held where we’re staying. It’s more extensive than the photo suggests, spread across a few levels and up into a building. We did a recce on the way to sort out snorkelling equipment.

Lunch was homemade cassava chips, samosas and a spicy lamb sausage on a stick with tamarind chutney, courtesy of one of the Indo-Fijian stallholders.

The mandatory souvenir tea towel has been purchased.
