Sweet Peas
in abundance this year on one plant :)
Aren't they amazing, and they smell wonderful :)
Last night I did not sleep well due to the heat I think. I was awake every hour, on the hour, so in the end decided to stay at home today, especially when I realised it was carnival day here.
I still have a rash on my legs but its calmed down a lot now, thankfully.
The joy of shopping early, then a bit of housework intermittently relaxing in between times :)
I was in the kitchen with the door wide open as I normally do at this time of year - and all of a sudden a loud plane noise - I went out and looked and it was (I think) a bomber from World War II - passing by on its way back after the fly past this morning I assumed.
I didn't expect it to come back again right over my garden and therefore didn't have either mobile or camera at the ready :( Never mind. Seeing it was enough :)
Afterwards, I discovered Charlie's new hiding place in the garden and got her to come out and play with a toy mouse - she really doesn't do that much anymore, being a lady of almost 17 :)
Roast sea bass, potatoes, mixed veg for dinner. Nothing exciting then.
