Herring Gull

Warnings of heavy rain and storms for today for this area.  We have had some deluges, but not as bad as expected and some bright spells too.

During one of the bright spells, we had a coastal walk, Bob a short one and me a longer one.  It was windy but quite pleasant to walk, but the Isle of Arran was nowhere to be seen, although I did see Pladda in the distance, and I think I saw the outline of Holy Isle, although I am not sure.

This Herring Gull stood on his rock surveying the area for a long time, I just liked the look of him, although it is a simple picture.
