Garden Show

We went to the Gardeners' World Live show in Birmingham, and although the forecast had been for rain, it was a lovely sunny day and very enjoyable to wander around the show gardens and stalls. If we had not been travelling by train we would have been tempted to buy plants (so it was probably a good thing, as we have a stack of plants already waiting to be planted). The tickets were a Christmas present from our daughter and she had also bought us (excitingly) tickets for a talk by Monty Don, who was as affable and entertaining as we had expected.
