Washout

What an awful day! 
Despite my fervent wishing, the market wasn't cancelled and was as awful as you might expect. 

Not only did the horrendous weather mean that barely anyone ventured out (ergo barely any sales) but everything got completely soaked too :(

Got home and tried to clean up and get everything dry again, had to toss some stock that had got damaged beyond repair by market volunteers sneaking between stalls and accidentally knocking things onto a soaked ground, twice!! too. 

Thankfully, the weather is looking much better for Dunbar tomorrow. I really hope so, as two rubbish weekends of sales on the bounce will not be conducive to favourable cash flow this month. There's a lot to be said for a regular income (plus holidays/pension/sick pay etc) that's for sure!
