A lot of rain fell today and even a bit of thunder clapped a beat. Looking out on to the greyness i got me an apron on and baked some bread and made a mess of a strawberry roulade (i may make something or other out of it but not sure what, don't even think an Eton Mess is possible). This was after a feeble attempt at cutting and dying my hair, the colour doesn't look changed so not drastic and the cutting is rough and messy. 
Now, what's so interesting about these net curtains is that they hang from a pole suspended by string and toggles at the sides so i can raise them up or lower them down. With all the kitchen activity today i thought I'd go for a sort of length of a French café look. Bet none of you have nets this adaptable!!
