Home again

We decided yesterday that we would head home today instead of moving on to Banchory as originally planned. Mr PHL had a bit of a tickly cough starting and today he woke quite bunged up so it was the right decision.

Packing up was pretty quick and we were on the road by just after 11. The forecast looked dreadful but we seemed to stay ahead (or behind) most of the rain.

I took Phin to Newbattle for a runabout whilst Mr PHL got the van sorted on the driveway. I wore my dry robe but apart from a couple of spots of rain, I didn’t really need it.

I’ve emptied most of the inside of the caravan and got a couple of loads of washing done. The forecast looks dry for the next few days so I should be able to get it all done and put away.

Really needed the hot bath I went for after dinner as my hip was a little sore after a day in the car.
