Racers

The race has been running for 6 and a half hours. The sun is setting, the lights are glowing ( Alf wanted me to say ‘and the beer is flowing’ next, but we aren’t drinking so it isn’t ).
Anyway, as our campsite has been moved we have done even more walking than usual which is annoying but the race has been brilliant so far. No safety cars, no massive accidents, only a couple of retirements and after all this time and over 110 laps the top 3 cars are covered by 3 seconds. This is amazing.

We are watching from a new spot for a few hours then I’ll go to bed and Alf will spend the rest of the night wandering around his favourite spots watching the action ( that’s a young Persons game, I’ll have my earplugs in trying to get some sleep ).
