Mortonhall Arboretum

A lovely sunny day. There is a light shower in the morning, so took a coat on the morning walk. Fortunately, the expected showere went east of our walk and we stayed dry.

No problems with rain showers in the afternoon. The walk to get Friday coffee and cake took us through the old Mortonhall Arboretum. I am standing next to tree blown over by the storms earlier in the year. While the arboretum is well past its best, there are still lots of interesting trees to walk past. And it is a great place to explore.
