I do love daisy-shaped flowers!

What a fiasco today was! Last time we were at #2 Daughter's she persuaded me that it would be nice for me to have and egg chair in the garden, the swinging sort, like hers.

Today was the day I decided to treat us to one so we made space in the Volvo and went looking. Dobbies had the nicest one so I went to buy it, looking forward to some nice weather after tomorrow's storm. It had the benefit of 20% off and I would get 150 points on my loyalty card. I also had a £4 voucher to use up.

It wasn't to be. Yes, I bought it but they didn't have spare stock to sell so it would be 10 working days delivery. Annoying but OK. So, at the till - there was £15 delivery to pay. Then my voucher couldn't be used on an order and, guess what? No bonus points could be given on orders!

I was cross! My day was spoilt further by not realising we should each have had a cake in the price of our pensioner's lunch.
