Memorial

This wood carving stands in the harbour at Kirkcudbright, a memorial to all those lost at sea.

A few weeks ago, BBC television filmed it being repaired for their Repair Shop on the Road series. I understand it will be aired in September.

A strong storm today resulted in flash floods on the road as we drove here.
