Seeing Beyond Looking

Colmar, Alsace

Yesterday we visited the beautiful little town of Colmar. Well known for its beautiful half-timbered medieval and Rennaisance buildings and cobbled streets in the old part of town.

The Colmar Canal is a 23km long branch of the Rhone-Rhine Canal. Colmar is known as Little Venice because of the canal which surrounds the town.

The town was swarming with tourists (including us)! The heat was oppressive and humid at 35C. Luckily the bus ride home was only 30 minutes away in our hot bus!

The heatwave is going to break today with a ten-degree drop in temperatures! We return to Switzerland tomorrow. It will take 5 hours with a lunch break included.

Please excuse my lack of comments during this period.
