Seeing Clearly

I had a visit to the eye clinic at the hospital today as a follow up to my optician's appointment last week.
The consultant could not see any of the issues on their scans that had been raised, so I was discharged.
He did say that the retina has a life of about 70 years before it starts to deteriorate.
The afternoon was spent avoiding the bright sunlight while the effects of the drops wore off.
