Evangelistria Monastery

We took the bus to Skiathos Town this morning and then a minibus to this monastery up in the hills which was very pretty and still in use.
From there we decided to hike to the coast but didn’t swim when we got there as we were on a tight time schedule to get back for the minibus and we were aware that it was a hot, steep climb on the way back! We needn’t have worried though, as we made it back in plenty of time even with regular water stops.
In the afternoon we swam on our local beach and then had dinner at our hotel bar on the terrace with beautiful views.
