Looking at me? back blip

I slept in today. It felt really good and must have been needed. A purple male finch enjoyed breakfast with me . What a charmer...This morning I painted the ceilings hubby has been working on. I painted second coat on the table and chairs but ran out of paint before I was finished. I planted 3 ferns, cleaned dining & living rooms and downstairs. We did some laundry and started packing for the trip home. The cows were out once again!.  
We took the buggy up on the big hill after dark to look for the northern lights. It was a little cloudy or maybe it was smoke from Canada but we did not see any lights. It was a beautiful evening and we enjoyed the silence and peace on this beautiful farm.
