Arrived!

Set off very early from Cheltenham to Heathrow. I'd pre-booked parking at Terminal 5 business parking (got a deal!) and we looked around for the traditional courtesy bus only to find a Pod Station. When we dragged our cases over there we got into a driverless Pod which held two people with lots of luggage, maybe four if you only had hand luggage. We selected Terminal 5 as the destination and the little Pod reversed past another Pod and drove us to the terminal at quite high speed, took about 5 or 6 minutes. This was not on a rail, just a private road that swept up onto a passover. It really reminded us of the Johny Cab in Total Recall so we have renamed them Johny Pods!

Then good flight with BA, enjoyed the in flight entertainment and the mags and then landed in Houston, Texas. Our very good friends live here and we are really looking forward to a lovely week with them. It started well yesterday with a dip in their pool and then a Teriyaki Chicken burger.
