Tiny Worlds: Dandelion Abstraction Distraction

What to do during yet another all-day rain? Play with a dandelion seed head indoors, that's what! One bathroom sink photography project, coming right up!

I placed my dandelion seed head on top of a clear plastic platform with a teal headlamp under it, and sprayed the seed head down with Sun-In, which was the only spray bottle I could lay hands on quickly. (Yes, in the 80s, I used to use this stuff on occasion. Haven't touched it in years!)

Then I turned off the overhead lights, turned on my headlamp, and took macro photos. Here's a link to the Instagram set; the final photo shows the low-tech "making of" which occurred on the bathroom sink. :-)

Due to my odd choice of source for the water droplets, I'm picking this as my soundtrack song: INXS, with Suicide Blonde.
