Collared Dove

Collared doves have often nested in my garden. Many times, the mums have built their nests badly and I have found broken eggs or nests. This time a mum had built her nest in the front garden. From my bedroom, I saw that this mum has a baby. I shall keep an eye on her. Collared doves only arrived in Britain from the Middle East, reaching Lincolnshire coast in 1952.
