Friend or foe?
We took Millie for our usual walk round Buttermere today having used the bus. She is now fast asleep by my legs; I think she will be glad to be rescued when Wendy comes home.
The title of this blip refers to Fleetwith Pike which is always a pleasing part of a blip taken in that direction. Slightly less of a friend four years ago when Tam, Ash and I were returning to a camp in Rosthwaite which we had left in the morning before climbing Castle Crag and Dale Head, making our way along the ridge to Robinson and back along the lake. Up the edge of Fleetwith did feel an extra challenge. It was Day two of the Great Lakeland 3 Day which I can't recommend strongly enough if you are into that sort of thing.
The extra is Trev trying to get Millie to pose in front of the foxgloves. I decided to go for a backdrop instead!
