another sunday, another peony

it's so sad when partnerships end, especially when it comes out of the blue.
an old school friend is going through this after 27 years.  she is bereft and floundering - all i can do is listen - check in with her every day and hope she can find a way through this terrible time.

she wants to know when she will feel better.
i can only say that it will take time. years.  like me, she is 65. 
TKM & i had the measure of him from day one - but she was besotted, and still is.

i want to **** *** ** the ****s.

should any women, or men, out there have some kind advice that i might pass on...please get in touch.

my friend is committed to hosting her eldest daughter's wedding next weekend and I fear things will overcome her.
