Operatic Sky, Greystones

Lovely evening in Greystones with my cousin Dave (and Lola, our Jack Russel). Before dinner, we went to the little cove where he swims regularly. I parked on the bend, just a few steps away. Dave went down, stripped and dove in and Lola barked. And barked. We've had her about four months now and she's still only a pup, around a year old (we were given her by a FB acquaintance). She didn't know what to make of the sea and actually bit the waves a couple of times (what would that feel like to bite the skin of some beast that dissolves into cold salty water?).

On the way back to the car we took a few shots of the evening sky. The colours had intensified to a kind of lurid backdrop, a stage set with a broken column of rainbow; I could almost hear the singing, angelic/choral or operatic, all the stops pulled out, going for broke.
