The Falls of Bruar ...
are a short drive from The House of Bruar - an expensive shop not too far from our hotel. J actually bought himself 2 shirts - he never buys anything. Afterwards we went for a walk, a short drive away in the countryside. Although it wasn't a long walk, we chose the very steep path quite high above the river that lasted about 1.1/2hrs. There wasn't much water running through the bridge in the extra, but further up the trail there were some deep pools. The main picture shows who, I think, were school children on an Outward bound exercise course. On the way up the path we had seen them traversing a sheer rock face supported by ropes and on the way back down the opposite path they were jumping into this deep pool of water. It was a very warm day, but this water would have been freezing. At least they were suitably dressed for the occasion.
