Blackbird

Out early to get the most of the sunshine, though it lasted longer than the forecast predicted. Lots of birds and beautiful flowers in the garden. As there is now such dense foliage I also downloaded a bird song app that P recommended. Hoping it might also help me to improve identification of calls. I caught at least glimpses of most of the birds it detected, although not the goldcrest, treecreeper or blackcap. This blackbird seemed quite content just sitting in a tree above the path.
