Cottage Garden

I’ve brought some of the cottage garden indoors because the Iris didn’t last too long.  These won’t last too long either but they’re lovely for the moment.

I should have gone to the Gliding Club with Mr HB today but had to stay home waiting  for G to come and fettle a little outstanding  garden job, said he would be here late morning but didn’t come until very late afternoon, so I haven’t been too far from home. 
 
I did go shopping though …..  online, to spend  try to spend a Birthday  voucher at NEXT which lovely #2 daughter gave me .  I trawled, I chose, and I ordered and got all the way to the checkout, entered the gift voucher, only to be told that it wasn’t valid as there was a 10% off offer on at the moment??  Will have to phone, or even go to a real shop tomorrow. Ugh.
 
Garden job fettled beautifully, Mr HB has just returned and our house is now home to several parachutes waiting to be repacked tomorrow and I’m off to the kitchen:  Parmesan crusted salmon, new potatoes and asparagus for dinner – which is late.
