Job

The rambling (I think, or is it a climbing? I don't know) rose always looks lovely while it flowers.  It will drop petals everywhere very soon.

As predicted, today was a bit of a repeat of yesterday. I had a MUCH better run round the local woods for an hour this morning, a slightly smaller breakfast (cereal, juice) and then cut 90% of the allotment grass, until the battery ran out. Back home, via getting some petrol before the latest aggressions push oil prices skywards, to water everything in sight.

Himself cooked a huge platter of BBQ food for dinner and we celebrated No.2 Not Child hearing she'd been successful in a job application. It's a stop gap (hopefully) but it will be good for her to start earning, and have some structure to her days and life.
