The Race

This morning we were joined by some good friends who live here in Switzerland close to where we are staying. Today was also the day the Tour de Suisse was passing literally past the door of our accommodation. We watched the women’s race this morning from outside our front door! After lunch we walked along the perimeter of the lake to a local badi, a safe area to swim in the lake. We soaked up the sunshine before going to watch the men’s race coming through (blipped). Shortly afterwards we saw the rain headed our way (see extra) and decided to set off back to our accommodation. Unfortunately we hadn’t set off soon enough and subsequently we got drenched!! Thankfully it was warm and wet.

A little dried off, we went into the local town for a fabulous dinner, lovely.
