Dad remembered.

This was my Dad the day before his 95th birthday in October 2023. He died two months afterwards leaving behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was born Edwin George, always used George as he said Edwin was too grand, in the Kings Road, Chelsea in 1928. Lost his mother to TB at the age of eleven, put in a home, never saw his dad again. Did national service at Dover Castle and the Isle of Wight. Worked for Royal Mail and then ICI for 28 years. Lived at Slad for 61 years and never let us down. A lovely man remembered.
