Black currants

Went to give the apple tree a bit of a prune as some of the branches were in need of trimming back, and I saw the black currants were all ripe. Usually the birds get them so last year I cut them back really hard and they have been amazing, so looks like Black currant pie tomorrow, can't be bothered with jam, I will freeze some if there is enough to do so.
Tonight we had Rhubarb and custard.

It's been a windy day but mild, still no rain.

My back is aching today so having an early night, after trying 2 films on Prime one was dubbed and boring and I fell asleep watching the other it was so riveting, so we switched off the TV had supper and came to bed
