Micro-Moth

Today has just confirmed why I have never got into identifying micro-moths.  There are just so many of them and all too similar to each other.

For the sake of argument, I will simpy call it a grass moth.

I  disturbed several of these wandering round the meadow at the nature reserve.  I had gone in the hope of finding butterfies.  No such luck.  Athough it was warm, it was cloudy and also humid - threatening rain.  The sensible butterflies sensed that and remained hidden away.

I'll try again in a week's time and pick a dryer sunny day if possible.
