A wee wander....

I had the afternoon to myself, headed off with no clear destination, i love that!!  wandered around part of the Cabot Trail, the road i frequently went on to go see Jane :(  Headed down the Murray Road, which i remembered led to some old ruins, and i had my sketching stuff with me so that felt like a good place.   but when i got the end of the road, with just a trail ahead of me, and a rather impassable stream, i turned around.  on my way back i met up with a woman on a golf cart, and we chatted, she was able to tell me that what i was looking for was indeed close by, about a 4 minute walk, but bring welly boots next time ;)  On finding out where i live she realised i was the potter and told me she had many of my mugs and cups etc!!!  i love those random exchanges :)

Onto a bit of a beach walk, delightful....then into town for dinner - alone with my book - at one of my fave places.  Fish and Chips and a beer, and i really over indulged, and ordered cheese cake.  OMG it was amazing, but way too much so i have a piece left over for tomorrow :) such a simple pleasure, me alone with my book and dinner, overlooking a beautiful scene and it was warm so i sat outside!

I was feeling so over done with interactions with folks that i could feel the ugly monster rising up....so it was a very needed break and now i feel very happy and content!!!

Another day off tomorrow, and i think we are planning to go to Little River Beach in the afternoon!!!
