Garden Party

There are several houses on this street that have larger-than-life skeletons in their front yards. Maybe it’s like the folks who leave their Christmas lights up on the eaves because it’s just too hard to take them down. It was a good stroll and a chance to admire some unusual gardens.

We had a lively Father’s Day barbecue for dinner. Warm enough to eat outside. The first squash of the year from the garden. Strawberry shortcake. A perfect meal to start the summer! Two fathers and a father-to-be. It was a good time.
