Count Going Up

L was at book club so I went out late into the local fields to photograph some wildlife.

It was looking like a bust until the last few minutes when I came across some of the herd. Despite what you see here, the hind hasn't had twins, another hind is just out of frame. I was able to confirm a fourth calf that has been born this year, but couldn't get them all in the frame at the same time.

Lovely weather today, I enjoyed a swim at lunchtime, rather than first thing, meeting up with L who had done classes at the gym in the morning.
