!!!! Alt National Park Service posted today that the final count was 13.14 million in attendance across 2,300+ No Kings protests nationwide. !!!!!

71 MAGA agitators have been arrested. 62 additional investigations are still underway. 

Today I wrote the first check for the new business, paying the summer research intern, from our new business bank account. Someday this won’t feel like a big thing but it feels historic to us.

Had a fantastic, upbeat meeting with someone who has been working on an audacious, incredible idea with me. I thought it was a long shot. I warn everyone to keep hopes in check, that it is a long shot, but if it works it could help some of the people who lost their jobs when Power Africa was shut down and, if nothing else, as New Experiments told me, it gives people hope. 

I learned today that weight lifting releases endorphins and that is surely part of the reason why I’m reasonably ok. I’m doing all the right things physically, I just have to figure out how to sleep through the night. 

Sadly, one of my Kate friends is leaving at the end of the month. She has no job. She has no more prospects. Unlike the rest of us, she actually had two prospects, but neither one panned out. We will be going to Shenandoah for a last time Wednesday night before she goes back to Nebraska and lives with her parents. She’s a 36 year old woman. Her parents are wonderful, but it will be rough as an adult. 

Ukraine hit the Kerch Bridge to Crimea once again on June 3rd. They detonated underwater explosives near the support columns. Russia and Ukraine have different views on the safety of the bridge right now.
