Cat in a hat

I tossed my sunglasses down on the table without, at first, seeing Felix curled up asleep in the hat I'd been wearing earlier.

A rainy day, nice not to have to water the garden. In fact, it was cool enough to wear layers for much of the day. I spent a happy morning puttering around the garden (with less happy interactions with a couple rose bushes). Got a tire fixed on the rider mower by a mobile lawnmower service called Sharp Blades, who turned out to be a lovely gentleman of about 80 who reminded me of my dad, or of how my dad might've been at 80. Then went to a Red Cross office in Fairfax with W, who was donating platelets - a lengthy process.
