Kaiteriteri Beach is well known for its golden sand. 

During Christmas / New Year and the summer school holidays in NZ this beach is popular and crowded, especially with visitors.

During the cooler winter months it is much quieter and a pleasure to visit.

This was taken yesterday. The sun was shining and there was no wind so it was very pleasant enjoying morning coffee before walking through the native bush on the walkway at the back of the camping ground.
This same lovely weather was repeated today, and the forecast is expected to be the same again tomorrow!
