It was useful to have our National Trust cards with us as we drove home from our mini break. We were in a long line of traffic following a “wide load “ through the a,ready congested streets on the outskirts of Stockport when we happened upon Lyme Park, NT property . A quick flick of the steering wheel and we were in the green and tranquil grounds of the Stately house, a much better place to hang out . The skies of the moment contrast beautifully with our summer greens .
