Free to roam

The third day of the wedding was a brunch back at the hotel.  The dress code was semi-formal or traditional Indian and all the Jayanti family and their spouses made the effort to dress up.  Except Vikram of course.  IT was a colourful brunch in another dark interior dining room.  We were greeted with huge spicy Bloody Maries with prawns and bacon in them (which was a bit gross, i took them out) and platters of fresh fruit and all the usual brunch food.  Anu’s aunt Manjit, Ranjit’s 90 year old sister brought garlands from India to put on the couple and blessed them. It was all rather lovely.

After that we went back to the house, I swam in the tiny warm pool whilst the others napped.  Once everyone was awake we went to the John D MacArthur State Beach Park which although small was very lovely with a bridge across a lagoon with lots of wildlife notices but all we saw was shoals of little jumping fish flashing across the shallow water.  And crabs scuttling at the edge.

Came home via Wholefoods and bought more salads for dinner.
