Relaxation therapy.
Regular appointment today at the Lancaster Royal Infirmary Eye Clinic. This fish tank is in the waiting room and is very popular with the young children who come for eye tests.
In my case some progress was made. About 18 months ago I had a Cataract removed in my left eye. Unfortunately the artificial lens has since hazed up which I gather is quite common. They have now agreed to use Laser treatment to clean the lens surface. They also agreed put me on the list for a right eye Cataract op.
This is all good but of course it does nothing for my Dry Macular Degeneration for which there is still no treatment.
This is not a good thing for photographers to get although luckily in my right eye it has progressed slowly and although I can no longer read books, my Kindle has been a life saver.
Unfortunately the typeface used by Blipfoto is very light and it is hard to read long Blips. So I am sure you will understand when you don’t get as many comments as you once might have done.
But I am not yet ready to depart from this delightful community.
