Window dressing
A much nicer day than forecast and morning mizzle gave way to a bit of decent if muggy sunshine. I'm still working on the flipping talk and at the point where it all feels like it's all gone pear-shaped and won't come together! I know what I want to say but can't quite get there! Urgh. The programme is pretty intense, varied and potentially very interesting - have a look here if you fancy, I have to send off the powerpoint by tomorrow so will have to stop messing!
We walked up to the stone circle and I continued round the circuit major, peering in at the Heron Gallery and liking the layers. After the rain, the bogs have come alive - the sundews an intense red and the asphodel turning orange.
Tomorrow I shall be communing early with the birds - I've left this a bit fine too, either being too busy or the weather too awful to go recording the birdeens on my patch. It's all go.
