Travelling

The car was fine driving to work today, and traffic wasn't bad either. We are coming to the end of the season, and it's a big week for us. Nearly the whole team is onsite, delivering some very cool events.

I left just after lunch to collect my passport from the VFS centre. G came with me. I didn't know the outcome until I opened the bag and searched through the pages. It took a while, but there it was - a new sticker with a UK visit visa for 2 years! The relief was huge. We've been waiting for so long, instead of jumping up and down and celebrating, we came home and had a cup of tea.

I finished the work day, and then we had a treat in the form of a takeaway from Asha's. It wasn't as tasty as the one I had when G was away, but a bottle of champagne helped. And then I looked up tickets and managed to find some at a reasonable price, even at this late stage, so I went ahead and bought them! :))
