Pink Rose

Lotte and Steph gave me a rose for my birthday. Today it bloomed for the first time. Lovely little pink rose and it smells lovely too. Lots of buds so soon to be more. 

Another long day at work. Everyone tired and burnt out, lots of frustration at the system, at the lack of clinicians to do the work, at the never ending admin that gets in the way of being able to focus on the work. It's really hard. 
But I left not too late and met the Lotte and Steph on the hill for fish and chips and cold beer in the sunshine. You need some play to balance out the other bits.
