On the Broads

We hired a boat for the day to go round the Norfolk Broads. It was, sort of, interesting. Scenery much the same - canals, reeds, mills. The constant boat speed of 4 mph gave a rather (overly) leisurely pace to the day, as much of the surrounding landscape was ...... reeds!
I had a delightful time finding and looking round the thatched boathouses at Hickling Broad - rather indulgent as J was back in the marina minding the hired boat (and enjoying a pint).

Tomorrow we will revisit Happisburgh and may well then start heading for home.
