Nostalgia
This business address was once the home of my maternal grandparents. It was built around 1950. Sadly, my grandfather died of a brain aneurism in January i955. He was only 54 years old. I don't remember him as I was only 13 months old when he died. I do, however, remember many very happy times visiting and playing games of cricket with my cousins in the large back yard. This area, to the right, has been subdivided to build a new house. My grandmother sold the house in 1963 and went to England where my uncle was working as a doctor at a hospital in Essex. On her return she rented a small flat. She died from a heart attack in 1968 just before her 68th birthday. I think that we are always fond of grandparents as they are kind people who tend to shower us with gifts and show a lot of interest in our daily lives.
