5 at a time!

Flowers on the water lily in our pond.  Currently one of the best bits.  

We're a little disappointed in the lack of any wildlife round the pond.  The saying is "if you build it, they will come".  And certainly, we very quickly attracted newts and assorted dragon and damsel flies to our pond in Norfolk.  No such activity here.

Vegetation was a bit slow to establish last year, but now there's a good amount both in and around the pond.  There's plenty of small flies/water creatures, and the house martins take advantage of these.

It was a dull start today, though it brightened up later, so I opted out of any gardening activities.  I did a session on the static bike, and in the afternoon I did some sewing.
