Portrait Of A Sandhill Crane

Somehow, we seem to have slipped into summer. After calling the season spring for longer than usual, temperatures reached mid 80s and are set for warmer to come.

Strange then, that I choose another black and white portrait for today's post. However, the cranes seem unbothered by my presence and let me get close enough for some detail shots. And detail is key to making these images work. So I'm going with the flow. Not bad.
