Heatwave

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

It’s roasting.

Don’t even start.

In Scotland when we talk about the weather (which we do a lot) we are mocked by other countries. “22 degrees and you want AC for 2 days a year! Hahahaha thats not even proper hot,” laughs New Zealand*.

When we say it’s cold, Canada and Norway scoff. “-3, that’s nothing. Wouldn’t even bother putting the heating on for that. It’s -15 here. We don’t even think it’s cold unless your eyelashes are freezing.”

Anyway back to my original point, it’s roasting. It might ‘only’ be 22 but I HAVE A HEAT RASH. No further proof required!

And in fairness, no one has anything to say when we mention the rain!
