Unexpectedly Busy Day

Yesterday I only had one thing on today…then everything changed.
The only event in my diary for today when I looked at it yesterday was my bus check. Then I found a few extra things to do. I agreed to barter some salad leaves for some strawberries at songsters that I would deliver on my way to the bus check. Then we arranged a committee meeting for the bus group. Then I got a reminder that I was having lunch with my sight advice group - this was in the diary but we have been having problems with double events appearing so Mr D had been fiddling with the shared diary and this had disappeared without me realising. There was another event, but that was Mr D’s.
To add to the fun of my busy day it rained all day and I was mostly on foot. When I finally got home at just before 4, the final event of the day was taking place. The vet came to give our cats their annual check, jabs, worming etc. The vet comes to us because Misty won’t go in a cat basket. She always lets the vet know exactly what she thinks about what she’s going through during her ‘treatment’ and at full volume. On these occasions I am glad I don’t speak cat as I’m sure most of it is expletives! The other two are ‘pussy cats’s’ :-). Katy was told she was fat, and Brutus had a tick removed. Phew. It was a busy day.
